Honda Shadow VLX600 Bobber by Blue Collar Bobbers

Honda Shadow VLX, is a cruiser motorcycle with 583 cc V-twin engine, a four-speed transmission, 35* rake, chain drive, and a single-shock softail-style rear suspension. The VLX engine is borrowed from the highly popular Honda Transalp.

The Shadow 600 VLX is considered as one of the best softail-style motorcycle with V-twin engine that fit well for bobber custom built project. A bobber, originally called a 'bob-job' from the 1930s through 1990s, is a style of custom motorcycle. The typical construction includes stripping excess bodywork from a motorcycle; removing the front fender, and shortening the rear fender, which is "bobbed" (as in bob-tail), and all superfluous parts removed to reduce weight.

This video presents a collection of Shadow 600 VLX Bobber style by Blue Collar Bobbers (http://bluecollarbobbers.com/) based on Sandy, Utah, USA. The Blue Colla Bobbers is a special workshop in bobber. It also produces bobber kit for DIY bobber project. Its kits is simply, easy and fun way to totally change your bike into an old school, nostalgic hot rod. The Blue Colla Bobbers suggests following concept to those rider folks who are interested bobber project with their Honda Shadow.

"We suggest our side covers for the 1998 and older Shadows. Stock rims and suspension are a must for our kits. Our Shadow 600 shown has the stock gas tank and nothing has been changed on the frame. The 600 Shadow has the 60's chopper/bobber look. The original rear seat brackets must be cut in order to mount our kit. We show you how easy it is to do this and the rest of the bobber kit installation on our DVD instructional disc. The ape hangers shown are not supplied in our kits but we do have 2 sizes of drag bars."
